This Thing just decided to move again. I have played musical chairs with all my corals today. thank god I took the day off. If not would have lost the candy canes and the fungia Its been on the move since noon today. Not the way I planed my day off. But the bright side of this is I have an excuse to watch my tank all day and not get hounded by the boss. Lol

At least yours is visible. My has chosen a spot behind all my rock and my clowns have decided to follow it. :(

Mine did that the first couple of days but then came back put and stayed put up front. But now has decided the grass may be greener on the other side. He becoming a punk.

I kid u not the thing is on the very top of the rock moving under the power head. He has been the for about 30 minutes.

I swear I saw mine laughing at me the other day as he was on the move again.

Anemones can be awesome, but they are also frustrating... they certainly have a mind of their own

Once the anemone gets in a place that you like, feed it continuously... while the anemones do not have a "brain" that decides where they go, they do tend to stay in a place where their needs are being meet (light, food, water quality, ect)

So my advice... when the anemone gets in a place that you like: feed, feed, feed :)

if it's under the power head, turn it off or move it. If not, chances are you are going to have a mess.

After a 9hrpunk track up the rock he has decided to turn around and head back toward the original spot but this time it has only taken an hour. I could really shoot him right about now.

Just think positive: Once it gets happy, it will stay put until you do something to upset it (like a spike in parameters). Mine hasn't moved in nearly two years, so keep looking forward to that!

When I had my rbta in my solona , it enjoy playing chicken with my mp40 and giving me mini heart attacks.

I guess i just lucked out. Bought mine here in Athens and within a week it split. I dropped him on the sand bed and he moved about two inches onto a rock and hasnt moved since. I do spot feed both once a week and have to sit and keep watch so my cleaner shrimp wont pilfer their food.

mine was in the exact spot I wanted it to be for weeks till I moved one rock and now its exactly where I didnt want it and cant get it to move again!

typical anemone....
