Gary, your rainbow RBTA split!

It was happy sitting on a rock under the LED, then It went on a walk about ending up in the corner. A couple of days later this-

And the Black Onyx Clown I got from Felix just decides to take up residence too (woot!) :)
 
That looks like it's taking up wayyyyy too much room in your tank. I'll help take it off your hands if you'd like (or if you're selling!)
 
Haha, fair enough. Let me know if you ever consider selling it though. Looking for a nice RBTA.

Also, does anyone know if there is a general timeline or specific conditions for BTAs to split? I have a GBTA that I've only had for a few months, but its already about doubled in size from ~2in diameter to almost 5in.
 
There is an absolute timeline. It is "When ever it is ready". LOL Some say when water conditions are bad, others say when water conditions are good. Nobody really knows.

FWIW-
I have a light bio load, feed lightly, big skimmer, carbon dose and have a lot o light.
