Im only a couple weeks away from an upgrade (skimmer/sump) and am going to re-plum the whole system. My question is - where do i put my UV and Carbon/GFO reactors at on the sump? how do you make sure a majority if not all of the water runs thru both units?
my sump plans will be very similar to this one and plan on plumbing it nearly the same way - just not sure how to acheive the results i desire..

my current skimmer is severely under rated for my tank and it is really showing - algae, high trates/phosphates etc..and when this upgrade is complete it will really make a difference - should i worry about anything here? going from not skimming much at all to skimming the HECK out of it...dont want to wipe anything out
