Next weekend, I'll be ready to stock my reef aquarium with livestock. I've put together a list of what I'd like to have and thought that I'd post it here to see if anyone spots a problem with compatibility that I don't. I already have zoa's, paly's, bubble-tip anemone, hermit crabs, and snails. I also have a little aptaisa that I thought was gone so I'll be adding some Peppermint shrimp. Anyways, here's the list:

Cleaner clams
Peppermint shrimp
5 Pearly Jawfish

1 Flame Angel
2 Tomato Clowns

This is for a 65 gallon aquarium. I plan on quarantining all fish and adding them in two batches. First the inverts and jawfish. Once the jawfish get settled I'll add the Angel and Clowns.

Thanks for any advice.

It's a 5" DSB. I though the jawfish were community fish. I saw some in a public aquarium somewhere and was hoping to duplicate the effect of a colony of them popping up and down in their burrows. I know compatibility is different in a large aquarium though.

It's a 65 gallon aquarium. The lid is sealed tight. I'm going to add a little foam around the overflow. That's the only spot they could get out.

I had a couple of Yellow Headed Jawfish ages ago (don't know if they were a pair, they didn't seem to care) that set-up their burrows near each other and would throw mouthfuls of sand/gravel and sometimes small rocks down each others burrows. Occasionally they would come out and lock jaws in a sort of mock battle that never seemed to result in any harm. They were a very comical act, and everyone's favorites that came to see my tank. Good luck with them.

I would like clownfish but I'm not sold on tomatoes. I'm hoping they will make a home in my BTA. I don't want perculas since they were in my last reef set-up and I want something different. They perculas got too large for my 29g biocube. Any suggestions for a smaller clown?

You could get a pair of black and white ocellaris? The rest of the clowns get fairly big... maybe orange skunk clowns?

Thanks. I'll look for that book. I already have a few clams that came with my live rock. I don't want to lose them either.
