Really hard decision, I need your thoughts!

Not trying to change your mind (though I'm a MH fan), don't forget to factor in bulb cost when replacement time rolls around. 2 halides can cover a 75 easy (and the problem you stated points to crappy reflectors).
2 MH bulbs can be noticeably cheaper than 8 T5s to buy (assuming you buy good T5 bulbs).

I was looking at a Current USA Nova Extreme 4x54 watt or a wavepoint 4 bulb fixture. Which One would you get?!? Any other recomendations would be great also!:thumbs:Oh, this is going over my 75 gallon reef.

Wow 4 hours and 11 post later decision made!!! Good job:up:
Do you still want recommendations on others or just feed back on the Aquaticlife?

I bought a used Nova extreme 4 bulb fixture and one of the ballasts stopped working withing a couple months. it looks good and can grow great coralline on only 2 bulbs..

currently, I've got a Marineland Doublebright fixture on that tank.. (I think that the
reef capable is a better fixture)

Hahaha! Well, see, I originally wanted an aquaticlife, but I decided to give the Deep Blue SolarXtreme a try. They kept breaking, and I just decided to get a whole new brand fixture. That means I would have to pay the difference between the prices, and I figured, why would I not get a light with the same features when I have so much money invested in this thing!:)

I used to have a nova extreme 2 bulb on my 26 gallon. I hated it. It wasnt bright enough for me, but I have seen the 4 bulb fixtures and I like those! I have to say, they have good reflectors!
