I'm getting ready to move to Florida in about a month and will be breaking down my 225 (sales to come!) . As I won't have a premanent residence for awhile, I'm finding it hard to part with some of my livestock and want to set up a smaller tank that can be easily maintained and moved when needed.
What size tank would you recommend? I like the idea of a cube and have been sold on deeper tanks, but would be looking at standard sizes that I might find at a LFS down there.
Look forward to your recommendations and if you are the owner of one, feel free to post/link a picture.

Petsmart sells a 56 column tank that has great dems. If I remember correctly its 30x18x24 awesome size IMO. If that's too big maybe the 30 oceanic, it is still pretty common to find around town.

I'd prefer reef-ready. I don't trust an over the rim skimmer box, especially if I'm going to be out of town.

What about the 29 biocube. They are expensive new but the whole all in one thing would just about be perfect if you plan on moving more than once.

That might work, but 29 gallons would be on the smallest size...it's going to be hard to go to a tank that's alomost 90% smaller...my elegans might take up the whole tank!

Edit: but at least the tank would look stocked...

I'm not sure of the brand. I'll have to look. I picked it up from Robb though and it's a nice setup.
