What store bought fish reef food do you recommend?

I am starting a reef tank, and will have minimal fish. Clowns, Tang, Blenny, dragonet, Starter Corals (mushrooms and other soft corals that will do well in a young of tank)

I have been reading through the archives and have seen where many people are making their own reef & fish food. I am interested, but with a small startup tank it might not make a lot of sense for me right now.

So, What store bought fish reef food do you recommend, and why?

thanks

I'm interested in hearing what others do for reef/fish food. Good thread.

Unless you're willing to cultivate (or frequently replenish) pods, you can leave that dragonet off the list.

lol, this tank is has been approved on the understanding my wife gets a dragonet. I will not add a dragonet until my system can support them, and their copepod habit.

HOWEVER... This is more about the best store bought food on the market. What store bought food do you recommend?

I feed a good quality flake food daily, some Sea Veggie brand nori once a week or so and PE Mysis every 5 or so days. I also give some pellets about every other day along with the flake. This is very different than I used to feed though. I used to feed Rods food daily along with a full sheet of nori and some pellets...it was too much

I like Amici's schedule, frozen on weekends before a water change...I might adopt that. I stopped feeding Rods food a while back because I was getting alot of algae, I had a heavy hand on feeding for a while though.

I really like PE Mysis (Full of Protein) and Rod's Food (Great Mix of Everything). When I can find it, I will feed Ocean Nutrition Frozen Prime Reef (Great Mix and has no binder like most of Ocean Nutrition's cubes, but is hard to find)
