I am looking into automating the maintenance of my tank and am starting to look into investing into a tank controller. I want a controller that can grow as my tank grows. I have a 29 gal biocube for now but once my wife and purchase a house we would like to upgrade to ~120 gal. tank for the living room.
I want something to control/dim the lights (leds), ato, and control the temp. for now. Something I can control via the web/droid or iphone is a plus. I am new to the hoppy so I don't what I would need to check/automate. So I ask you what do you recommend.

FWIW-
I know several current users of the Reefkeeper by Digital Aquatics that have stated they would now prefer the Apex. That and the Apex features did it for me.

Shop and compare for yourself though. You will have to live with it. Both will work.

Call both companies customer service number. That made the decision for me.

Apex here.
