Who's got any experience with them?

I'm interested in the Reef Energy A & B... (postdigested? interesting..)

and the FOWLR additives..

Haven't tried the new supplements, but I am using their new test kits and love them.

I picked up A&B today at Marine Design.. the dosing for my needs will be 10ML/day of each solution. RedSea says you can mix them together before pouring them in the tank. It's a daily dosing regiment.. using a dropper to feed corals like duncans & sun polyps (i've got sun polyps)..

oh yeah.. it's BRIGHT FLOURESCENT YELLOW... !

pour it in your tank.. turn off the skimmer, run the powerheads.. (for 10-15 mins)

it gives my tank a yellow tinge to it for about 20 minutes..

I'll let y'all know how it goes..

Did it cost a small fortune? Their test kits were pretty pricey at my LFS, but the store should be named "Rip-off Land"

I think they were $20/ea ($40 for the both)

we'll see how it goes.. i wouldn't buy them again unless I see a noticeable change...
(either in growth/health of the corals, or lower nutrient levels, because I'm putting less food in the tank that degrades)

what ive been doing lately is pouring instant ocean reef accelerator in my ro salt water when i do a water change while its mixing ive only just started dosing it dunno if its doing anything yet lol

Example: 5 gallons of new R/O saltwater @ a salinity of 1.025 with parameters of Ca: 440 dKh: 9 Mag:1280 and you dose say 5 mL or a capful of say Brightwell Calcion into this 5 gallons of new saltwater, you could actually precipitate the calcium out of solution causing your parameters to be unbalanced for your corals to thrive (this is just an example, not saying this is accurate).

I don't really put any chemicals into my tank(s) that I can't test for, and all of my corals are colorful, healthy and have great polyp extension. That being said, I also do 15-20% water changes every 10 days and maximize my salt that I purchase and ensure the viability of my livestock.

I'm using a coral food.. not really dosing a supplement/chemical..

the Reef Energy A&B are post digestive enzymes and amino acids..

so, are you saying that I shouldn't put supplemental food in the tank for my corals?

I started this regiment (20ml every night) on 5/19 and so it's been almost a week..

I have been seeing quite a bit of improvement in my sun coral (it had regressed because of where I placed it in the tank) and the Pokerstar Monti is really coloring up..

we'll see.. I just wanted to let ya'll know that I had seen SOME improvement..
