Reef A Palooza Orlando

Nice. My issue is that it'll be too cold to call it a holiday for the kids and too far to make it a day trip.
I’ve watched a lot of the videos as well
We just want to go and at everything! We have so much to learn. Our problem is that we made hotel reservations wating for the tickets to go on sale then my husband fell off a ladder and broke his back so he can't work. Extra money is gone now so not sure if we will be able to go. Thankfully my hotel reservations are cancelable until like April 19th. Not sure it's worth the money for us this year if we squeeze our budget for the trip and tickets then have no money to pick up anything cool anyway! Lol.

We'll be there. We had actually booked a family vacation to Disney for the week before, and realized after the fact that this is the following weekend. So we've extended our stay a few days to be able to attend. I went a few years ago and had a blast!
Wow sounds like you have an awesome vacation planned! I really hope we can go.

Do a lot of you guys go? If so, for the deals or the selection?
Worth the 6 hour drive?
@Rhirano09 has gone because I just bought some frags from him and I believe he said he had gotten the corals from RAP last year. He can probably give you insight you are looking for. He is coming to the meeting tomorrow

We plan a vacation there to also coincide with this. We go to the parks and then I hit up RAP on Sunday, the last day. You can usually get the best deals at that time on corals. Some vendors don't come down at all though it all depends how well their sales went the previous two days but there was a ton of stuff still available. I mean most of these guys still looked fully stocked on Sunday... but many were complaining about weak sales overall from this last RAP. I bought a few pieces from Golden Basket though and he wouldn't come down at all... :p Other vendors gave me some very good deals.

I hope you can too! When I went last time there were some great deals to be found (and also some extremely high pricing), so it's worth saving for if you can. I know I'll be working extra to save some money!

We have a car for sale so if we sell it we can set a bit of that money aside for the trip and tickets. Also hoping my husband will at least be able to go back.to his mowing business after his next neurosurgeon appointment but we will see.

My kids will die of thirst before I buy them a $10 coke, lol. IDK my long term planning is about 2 days...so we'll see what the future brings.
Although, I've got my fingers crossed that this gold torch bubble is going to burst by April, lol

They have raised the prices at Disney so much since the 80’s. A one day ticket is now well over $100+, with Disney now saying they are charging surge prices for peak time park entry. You can drop a quick one thousand just for day tickets for a family of four. Indo coral sounds like a comparative bargain....

I have personally been to MACNA and Reef-a-palooza and I love both shows! There are lots of corals and wonderful speakers. The prices are killer and there are tons of booths giving out free stuff. If you are one of the first 100 in the door you get a t-shirt and all sorts of samples. Im going again this spring, wouldnt miss it!
