Reef Dynamic Skimmer?

Is anyone running one of these or has run one in the past? I am looking for some feed back because I am looking at either a Reef Dynamic or Reef Octopus skimmer for my new 90g build.

Reef Dynamics used to be Euroreef and they are my personal favorite. I ran a 135 on my 93 high-bioload reef and it was bulletproof. Never had a hint of nitrates and always had a cup of black gag-me skimmate. Nothing wrong with Reef Octopus either.

Thanks for the information. I didn't know that RD use to be Euroreef.

I am thinking I am going to go with the 135 for my new setup, but I am going to go by and check out a Octopus before I purchase it.

I am running a reef dynamics ins-80 on my 46 bowfront and that thing is a beast. I highly recommend it. But I have heard great things about Reef Octopus. You are in the same predicament I was in when I did my build so I went with Reef Dynamics mainly because of the local support.

I think I am pretty sold on the RD after reading some reviews and hearing that others are running ones as well.
Also, since my LFS has them in stock I can support them instead of having to buy online.

Your welcome. If you go to youtube, look la fish guys and I believe its episode 88 he actually goes to the place where they make the skimmers and talks to the head guru and after watching that I was def sold so if you can check it out.
