Reef keeper elite vs apex

Did a quick search on google and found that it was close to 50/50. Just wanted to get an opinion here from those who already hav them and those planning on getting them( why did you chose the one you did)
 
Personally think the Apex is more versatile out of the box than the RKE,but I've only had a RKL to compare my Apex to.

That combined with the customer service and support (especially from the Neptune forum on RC) you get with the Apex versus the non-existant support from DA... it was a no-brainer.
 
I love my apex, i thought the configuration was easy. Customer support is great.

seems like this question pops up every few months... probably ok though since my thoughts have changed over the past year on this topic. I bought an RKE when they first came out and it has worked ok for me for the past couple of years. If I could go back in time I would have waited for the Apex. From what I have seen from friends and read on the forums, Apex seems to be a more user friendly system and easily configure "out of the box" . I would switch if given the chance.
