Does anyone else use the ORP probe for their Reef Keeper (or the temp/ORP probe)?

Please help me understand. I've searched for a good bit, but cannot seem to locate this information. The entire time I've owned the RKL, nearly 2 years, my ORP has been between 1150 and 1400.

Does the Reef Keeper measure this in mV, as appears to be the common way to measure ORP? DA's site does indeed indicate an 001 mV resolution for the ORP probe, but it seems like a level that high would be clearly fatal. Recommended ORP is around +/- 375mV.

Your ORP probe is not reading correctly. Everything in your tank would be dead at that level. You need to calibrate the probe.

As I figured. Thanks for the confirmation.

I don't suppose anyone has any calibration solution? Mine RKL didn't come with any. I've got the integrated temp/ORP probe.

Recommended seems to be 375-400. Still getting a grasp on the concept. Some people swear by ozone for ORP (and thusly control water clarity, quality), some feel it doesn't show demonstrated benefits...

I have some ORP calibration solution packets if you are ever in my area.

That's mighty gracious of you. What area is that? Atlanta, I see. But what specifically?
