well the painfull ??? of salt again

what salt would you use? I want to buy some more salt and found Kent Marine Reef salt 200gal bucket for 52.99 free shipping. they have the box for 46.99.

Seriously... it's like toilet paper. Buy what makes your @$$ happy.

I for one buy the cheapest salt I find every 2 months and just let me reactors handle the rest.
Works for me, other swear by certain brands.

Like said below - anything that works for you will do.

have not been doing this long but i have used IO both regular and RC. I currently use Salinity mostly due to price I paid for a bucket from someone as I don't think I would purchase due to the price. I have a box of IO at the moment but was LQQKing for the future, the Kent Marine has at:

Specific Gravity: 1.024 - 1.026
pH: 8.2 to 8.3
Calcium: 550 to 575 ppm
Magnesium: 1,350 to 1,450 ppm

I'm in the group that believes "if it's not broken, don't fix it". Salt is expensive, but a bucket/box will generally last a while. You're not saving that much when you really break it down. I have to ask the question... is it worth the risk?

NO NO NO IT has to be ANGEL SOFT that other stuff gives you a rash

Edit: Reef crystals here but seriously most of the non exquisite salts are out sourced and I would imagine all to the same manufacturing facility

The "Salt" of the earth in my book.

Edit: OK, I will play along. I use IO. Why, because that is what they sold me when I started my tank and I have seen no reason to change.
