Reef Scene in Birmingham, AL?

Is anyone familiar with the reef scene in Birmingham...stores, clubs, etc?

I know there's a store on 31 in Hoover near the Galleria, but never been in it, I got there after it was closed.

Birmingham is pretty slow, that why I stay on the ATL site. B'ham does have an actve Reef Club.

Looks like they only have 10 members! If I move to B'ham, looks like I'll be visiting Atlanta a lot!

hi curator I'm in Centre, about 2 hours from Bham toward Rome Ga. If you head out this way let me know

the reef scene is basically nill out here.

there are a few shops around this area, but i havent found anything i want in them for years haha.

again, if you head out here let me know the good thing about bham is there is an apple store !

Steve, how long ago did you go there? There used to be a fish store in the Patton Creek shopping center by the Galleria, but it closed and became a run of the mill pet store with dogs, cats, etc, no fish.

Um last Christmas/Thanksgiving? I know that the shop was in the Patton Creek area.... There was a mexican restaurant right next to it and an Italian place out near 31... If you're heading from Pelham on 31 it's just past the Hummer dealer on the left...

Hmm, that sounds like it's right off Patton Chapel Rd; I'll check it out when I go to my parents house Thursday and see if they're open.

Man I have family right off Patton Chapel too... Sucks though cause I'm not gonna be able to make it this year... It's past the Krispy Kreme maybe a mile from Patton Chapel...

Haha, really? My parents live at the end of Patton Chapel on Park Avenue, just a street before Shades Crest right along the bluff.
