Can anyone give a review of their controllable units? Price point looks nice.

I checked out their website and they sell replacement LED chips for $1.50/each. Does anyone know if these would be compatible with MM boxes or eshines?? I assume they would so long as they are 3w chips. I have a couple of chips that are out that I want to replace and I'd like to broaden the spectrum by adding some other colors. Thanks.

I just picked up a photon 24 and am thinking of switching up the spectrum as well. Not sure where to start...

Whats up Steve. We need to swap some frags in the future after your new tank gets settled.. Let me know how you like the reefbreeders after you've had time to observe growth and color. Can you control them with a controller like APEX or ReefAngel or is a builtin controller on the LED box? You didn't customize your array when you bought it?

Reefbreeders sells all their LED chips on the site so its just a matter of learning how to swap them out. I'm trying to find a video on youtube.

Just FYI, they put a safety seal on the case cover screws. I would assume the minute the case comes off, the waranty goes away.

Photon has a built in controller.

I have them and they are amazing so far. I probably would have made some adjustments to the color spectrum had i known better at the time i purchased them. I really would love to figure out a way to connect them to my reefkeeper so I can obtain better controls than is offered with their controller. If anyone knows how please let me know. Customer service is fantastic. I had a problem with my controller and Logan sent out a replacement, which was simple to replace myself. I cant speak about coral growth yet.

I have the Nova A4 over my 60 cube. It has been great! Great color, shimmer, and good coral growth. Easy to reprogram every couple of weeks until i reach a max output for daytime @ 60 to 70%. Logan,at Reefbreeders, was great to work with. +1 for Reefbreeders and this unit.

I dont know that opening the case voids any warranty. I purchased extra optics and exchanged several emails with Logan regarding changing out the optics with no word of caution or mention of voiding the warranty if I opened the case. Logan is great to work with!

I have the 24 controllable one over my 65 reef and LOVE them! We are going to use them on our 300 when we get it set up and going.

what size(s) does everyone recommend for a 65gallon? Im starting a new tank and not looking into anything too exotic in terms of fish or corals.
