reefers at UGA

I will be attending UGA next year and I plan on bringing my 13.5-gallon nano tank. I was wondering if there are any members who go to UGA and also have reef/any fish tanks?

I'm a double Dawg but unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) my college days are in the past. A couple of good stores in Athens though. Do you know what you will study yet?

I applied for an accounting major but that may change; If anything it would be some sort of business related major. I too would like to join the double dawgs program!

I did not know it was an actual program. I had to look that up. I just have my BS and MS from UGA (earned within 5 years of eachother if that counts ). I was in the forestry school though. Fisheries and wildlife concentration for my undergraduate. Great school but you'll make more money as an accountant.

Yea doing double dawgs at UGA has always been my number one plan since my freshman year of high school. It was a dream come true when I got admitted last week! next step is to find out how I can make/get ro water while I am there

Classic City Aquariums in Watkinsville or Aquarium Outfitters on Broad St. Know both owners and worked at Aquarium Outfitters. Either place can hook you up with water.

I was just looking at both of those stores as they are really close by! I would hate to carry an ro/di filter with me at all times lol.

Haha he’s the reason I moved from freshwater to salt, definitely going to use some of his tips, but I’m definitely not going to keep as many tanks as he did
