Reeflo barricuda question

My Dart eventually had startup problems too such that each time I turned it on after feeding my tank, I would have to manually turn its shaft to get it going. This problem was resolved after I removed the pump and set its intake into a tub filled with a vinegar solution and let it run for an hour. No problems since. :)

I'm not sure how much the Barracuda seals are, but my snapper/dart seals were $30

Like...plumbers grease?

no.. like silicone that you seal a tank with... (goes around the metal casing that you press into the volute bracket assembly)

no need to treat the seals with any lubricant/waterproofer ... they come ready to install..

the silicone seals the metal/plastic transition between the spring washer and bracket assembly (see the last picture in my build thread link below)
