Here is my tank in about the same stage you are in, look at all that "gorgeous green fur" growing in my tank.

Do you have a reading on what the phosphate level in the tank is now? If it gets to zero it gets drawn out of the rocks even more.

No sir I don't have a test for that. I'm still not understanding why inverts won't live

May not be able to grow coral but the coralline algae is coming in like a beast!!!
