Almost ready..... Just a trip to HD for some schedule 80...... VERY unique tank!

Any suggestions on livestock?

Purple Tang..... Other fish??? NO JUMPERS!!

Coral?

I can stock with SPS or LPS..... U name it, I will try to get it in there.....

Plumbed and LEVEL! First test run showed where the shims needed to go.... Next test run in a bit..... Gonna do a water change from on my 220g and use that water with some rock to jump start.....

Yes, that's exactly how it works..... As with any tank, there will be algae issues..... Yes, I think this will take more attention, but wifey says she will help cause she likes it so much! BONUS!
 
Well, it's runnin! So far, so good! Flow seems to be high enough that no power heads will be needed..... @ 2,600gph, I would hope not! Time to drain it, clean it and fill with good water.... top down view will give a KILLER look over coral!

The drain tray is deep enough to keep zoa/paly on frag plug!

Looks like too much flow....seems as though your tank is overflowing :tongue:

Ya... A certain amount of flow has to be maintained to keep it flowing evenly..... I may turn it down some, the exact reason why two test runs were done.... as for it overflowing, even at full pump speed, it won't over flow.... there are 2 3" drains.....

Well, since I have had my tanks before my lil' ones, they know they are off limits..... we will see how that works out....

Yeah, just my bad attempt at humor :roll: Love these tanks....can't wait to see this all set up!
 
Wow, that tank already looks awesome and you don't even have anything in it yet!

Hurry up and finish this build so we can see the finished product, lol :)

Got water!! Added on a MRC Reactor to run carbon so the water can clear up.....
