refugium light question

How much light do you need for a refugium?

My refugium is 20"x9"x15" ~11.6g (actual water volume) What size light should I use? I'm considering a used light but I have a couple of options... both lights are PC but one is 40W and one is 80W... which one should I use?

A plain old clip on desk lamp with a cheap screw in bulb works just fine and much cheaper.. But out of the choices above go with the 40 watt.. Half the power with the same results..

This is the bulb that Cameron and Brandon worked out a couple of years ago. I have been using one (time to change) and my cheato liked it.
