So I get home last night from traveling all week to find what looks like a dead Regal. He is completely white, not breathing atleast it didn't look like it, and upside down. My first reaction was anger, the one thing I ask my girlfriend to do when I'm gone is make sure everything looks alright. I've spent countless hours educating her as well as showing her emergency plans for different things. So, I ask her, when did my Regal die? She states he was just swimming and eatinbg before the lights went out. I go through the regular questions of how exactly was he acting, swimming, eating, interacting?? ?? All seem normal from her responses, which is frustrating me even more! While I'm sarcastically commenting that I highly doubt the fish had a aneurysm and died between now and then I'm reaching the tongs down to fish him out. As soon as the tongs touch him he's awake! Swimming around like nothing happend??? At which point shes right again, and I look like the *** (hate it when this happeneds).
Do they normally sleep like they are dead?
