I witnessed my Regal Tang (about 7") pull a frag off my frag rack on the bottom of the tank with his mouth, he got about 6" from the top of the tank then dropped it. that was sooo odd to watch, makes me nervous....

anyone else have a frag moving fishie?

My fathers Regal Tang picks rubble and empty shells up and carries them across the tank...funny to watch. I wonder why they do it? think he's just playing? I used to float a red ball in my Oscar tank for the fish to play with...they would push it back and forth.

not sure - he didnt do any damage or anything, it was funny but since my foxface ate 2 corals and nipped several others i got a little freaked out.

my lawnmower moves them too, he goes under the frag rack and bumps the frags out, I hate him but at least he's not picking at the business side :)

Ha! my lawnmower always lays across my zoo colony and picks at frag rims

i dunno why they do it, i know blue throat triggers will do the same thing. mine hasent hurt anything but he keeps picking up my bubblegum monster chalice frag from thr rack and dropping it on the sandbed. fortunately it always lands upright. i think they just get bored or something when they get big like that. my little cleaner goby helps to occupy him and really helps keep him and my big chocolate tang god and clean!

My regal and both of my maroon clowns move corals.. Even if I glue them down they pick them up and throw them to the bottom. I have even seen my regal give corals a few tail smacks for some reason.. Usually it is when the coral has sweepers out out though.. She really hates my red candycane

OK here ya go. Got it from Holley. Sorry the pic quality sux. I promise I will get a new camera soon. The colors really don't pop like they do in real life.
