Do they hide? Bought one yesterday, he was in the tank last night, didn't look for him when I left for work but when I got home he was nowhere to be seen. Looked behind the tank, in the over flow and even in and behind the sump. He vanished!!! Maybe the coral banded got him? The shrimp isn't very big though.

They will hide in weird places. Mne hides inbetween the scrolls of the plating monti

You'd be suprised the spots they can hide in. I remember when my sailfin vanished after i first got him. i tore the tank apart trying to find him. He squeezed into the smallest hole. I have no clue how. But some fish like to hide when first introduced to a new system.

Maybe he is hiding with the daimond goby that I have t seen for 2 months lol

She's probably hiding in between a rock somewhere. I believe in nature they hide in Acropora and have heard they can be fairly shy when first introduced.
