Removing a nem

My CSB needs to go. Its foot stretches back pretty far. It’s moving a bit too much and have killed a few pieces. I’m close to injecting it with boiling water or kalk and sucking it out. Any advice or ideas to get rid of it?

Put a peice of pvc pipe over it. It will climb up into the pipe to get light
