so before i finish setting up my 145 i really wana replace the front pannle of glass.. its alot more scratched up than i realized and its buggin the hell outa me. so since ive invested so much into this poject i want it to be perfect. im thinking about ordering a precut sheet from allglass and it should run me just under 200 bux. so my question is, how hard is it to do what im doing?? the tank is an older custom tank so i think it may make it a bit easier, pluss the plastic frames are already cracked and broken so im taking them off to be replaced anyway.

so any input would be great!

That's easy,
the key to success is to get ALL the old silly cone removed so the new silicone can adhere to plain clean glass...

I used a combination of blade and magic eraser to scrub all the silicone from my "rimless" build but I think I got it all

wow duno why i put "allglass".... ha yeah so a piece of starphire from glass cages will run me around $250 picked up when they come though Atlanta.
