Hello club, I have been gone for a very long time but the itch to get back in the hobby has gotten the best of me. I just bought a 90 gallon corner tank off of a offer up and I would like some help on figuring out what's the next thing to do. I received everything with the purchase but I am unsure if this is good quality or would I need to upgrade.

I originally just wanted the tank but the guy thru the light and the "bottom tank" in so I wouldn't have to buy one. Here are some pics and please feel free to give up all the advice if possible

I used to have a 92 corner tank so here's some hints/ideas. I went with a single 250w DE MH fixture with a 2 bulb T5 as my lighting. MH ran only for about 4 hours a day.

Dump the bioballs. I ran live rock in mine. Bioballs become a nitrate factory after a short amount of time. Put a light in the sump area to give the live rock some light. I ran a Reef Octopus 110 with a Quite One 3000 return pump. I eventually made a custom sump to fit in the awkward stand but you can make due with that one for now.

With the live rock should I use anything to filter out dirt and scum? I was looking to have coral and non aggressive fish ?

You could send it through a filter sock first. Sock holders are cheap..like $15 and socks are about $3-4 each. Change them once every 3 or 4 days.

Welcome, good to have you back! You should come to the meeting and have pizza and talk with some members.

Can someone tell what this is ?

Is this what I would attach to the sump ? Or up top ?

It would go into the sump. It should have some kind of barb fitting with a hose that will return water to your display via the plastic nozzle that protrudes from the overflow box.

K thanks. I was kinda puzzled seeing that everything just came together in a box so I wasn't sure

Hello club, I was trying to find out why the tank has sprung a leak by the hose area and I wasn't sure if I might need to replaces hoses ? Please help... Here are some pics

You should never have to put silicone on the bulk heads to seal it, what more it won't last.
Is the rubber gasket on the inside of the tank or under?

To me , looks like you'll need a new hose, and new bulkheads. That clear hose tends to become harder and stiff and it won't keep attached to the bulkhead unless you hold it with a clamp.
Same thing happens with the bulkhead seals, they become stiff and can't hold the pressure from the water.
