the gasket is on the inside, I had to take the tube from the overflow off and that's what it looks like. I will clean off the silicone and try and tighten it back up. If that doesn't work I will change the hoses.

Do I just go somewhere like home depot to get hoses that might match up ?

I'd replace hoses and bulkheads. I never reuse them. It is really a pain to replace them once the tank is running. If you can even do it at all. Just not worth the risk and those look pretty bad.

The black piece in your picture with all the silicone on it. You may want to read up a bit before adding water. Just to get a good base and help you with some of the upcoming decisions you will face.
I'd start here. https://www.google.com/search?q=the+conscientious+marine+aquarist&rlz=1CDGOYI_enUS590US590&oq=the+conscientious+mari&aqs=chrome.1.69i57j0l3&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8&hl=en-US#imgrc=_">https://www.google.com/search?q=the+conscientious+marine+aquarist&rlz=1CDGOYI_enUS590US590&oq=the+conscientious+mari&aqs=chrome.1.69i57j0l3&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8&hl=en-US#imgrc=_</a>

That is a good book to get you going on a broad range of topics. As always, ask questions. There is some great knowledge here in the forum also.

The one I listed is just for the return line, the drain line is likely 1". Hopefully you ordered the correct ones.

I think Lowes has a better, reasonably priced "FDA Food Grade" hose but many of our sponsors (check sponsor forum) also carry these things, bulkheads etc.

What size were you still needing? I've got a few extra I bought for Premium Aquatics and never returned.

Hey Camelia,

I grabbed a couple off of Amazon and they should be here soon. Hopefully that will work and I can finally get the water in the tank :)
