I am not sure if the ph Probe is bad or if im doing something wrong or both which is very possible with me :lol2:
anyway. I hit the down arrow on interface until ph shows up on screen. I hit the center button it says calibrate. I hit that option then I change the numbers to read out 07.01 then I opened the ph packet thats 7.01 (floated in tank for bout 30 minutes for both of these ph packets to get to exact temp)
Then I let the ph probe sit in the packet for about 15 minutes check the data once it seems stable and staying around a specific number I hit next then I change the target to 10.01 and do the same as described in previous step.
I have tried this twice now and the ph probe still reads 27.64 for a few seconds than it will all of the sudden jump to some crazy number like -64.32 then back to 28.24 etc..etc..
Am I doing something wrong or is my ph probe likely bad. I just got this used from a member but they told me when I purchased it that they didn't ever use the ph probe so they didn't know if it worked or not
