RKL experts, help!

I did the firmware update (1.11) and everything went smoothly. After the factory reset (required) my head unit doesn't "see" the PC4. The only module in the modules menu is the RKL itself. The PC4 is up to date, firmware-wise.

Any help? I emailed DA but I don't expect help super quick and I need this thing running again!

What version of fimware is on the PC4?

I was advised by DA not to do 2.0 or higher since I may upgrade to the RKE.

I thought you had to upgrade to 2.0 when going to 1.11 on the head unit. I havn't upgraded yet but I thought I read it somewhere.

I will try that... this is on Sandie's tank, so I can do her PC4. Strange, though, when they told me not to go that high they knew I was talking about 1.11 on the head.

That did it... thanks, John! Sure am glad I didn't flash mine, I'd be ticked off if they made me paint myself into that corner.

I seriously doubt they'll make it so that PC-4's can't be switched from RKL to RKE, as that would completely destroy a huge part of their advertising/marketing of "upgradability".

They said that the problem is that the RKE is still "behind" 2.xx firmware, so if you flash a PC4 to that it won't work with the RKE... at least not yet, but they don't know when the RKE will get caught up to that level.

Im still waiting for the SL2 update to fix the Salinity Port/Probe issues for the RKE - they fixed it for the RKL. DA told me it was "noted" but never mentioned when they would actually fix it..
