RKL problem

Had my RKL for awhile now, went to set an alarm for temp, wanted to test the alarm, no sound, just flash. got it set on flash and beep.No beep. Not even when pushing any button . I set the sound mode to on.No sound at all. I must be doing something wrong. Any help, Thanks

Is there a volume button or a mute button. When i put my ear up to unit, can here a fant beep.
