I am setting up a fish only system 75 gal tank and was wondering if its worth buying a ro di unit or getting ro water for 30 cents per gallon

Go onto ebay and look up portable ro di units. They have some you can hook up to your sink and make the water. pretty reasonable. 30 cent per gallon is high. check around with some of the sponsors. I know some only charge 25 cnets per gallon and $1 per gallon for salt. Juest a though. Good Luck.

It really depends on your setup at your place, personally I love my RO DI and wouldn't do it any other way.

I was looking at bulk reef supply they have them for $175 is it worth it or should I just pay the $.30 per gallon...

RO unit all the way, go to home depot and buy a 2 hour shut off valve, costs $20 and saves you thousands in flood damages lol. Lesson learned.

I only have a 55 and it's been way easier not having to take buckets back and forth from the fish store, and it ends up paying for itself
