My ro unit a Coralife 3 stage with Di resin added is spitting out fresh water at 4-9 ppm on my tds the filters , membrane all have about 30-40G made the Di resin has about 25 so Im thinking its time to flush.
Iv never doen it but it looks like I just flip the membrane around and blow fw through the exhaust , is this correct , and how long should it flush , and do I need to put a valve on the fresh water out to stop it up ?
Thankyou for the input

There is a flush kit you can buy for cheap. I have never heard of taking out the membrane except to replace it... I would go with the flush kit first and see how the tds are affected. I flush mine every time I use it.

A flush kit does seem like a better idea after looking at them and having a better understanding of how it works.
Thanks Nick
I didn't mean remove the membrane I ment to flip the housing around to switch the fittings but I was misunderstanding in the process but I got it now.
Also I think the water temp was 56-59degrees from sitting in the garage I took a reading at room temp 71 and got a consistent 3ppm .
My tds is cheaply made so I'm sure its sensitive to temp.

Colder the temp the better water quality/slower the production. Mine reads zero all the time no matter what the temp. I do have really clean water coming in though too. Try the flush kit, if that doesn't work I would replace the filters and resin, if that doesn't work replace the membrane. I think the flush kit should do the trick. I have an extra one if you want to trade something for it.
