ro unit problem

Just recieved my new cora life ro unit today I have a leak that I can't seem to stop its the dhort yellow line goin from the micron filter into the carbon filter I've tried teflon tape with no luck!!

Is it a threaded connection or a push connect fitting?

Threaded, it's a coralife pure flo 2- 50 gal a day

Could it be possible that it was cross threaded when put together damaging the threads so it won't seal ?
I have that unit and it doesn't loos a drop.
If you just got it send it back and tell them to fix it or replace it

If it were me, I would disconnect the connection again (teflon if wasn't applied properly can cause an unsecure union) and reapply the teflon tape. Tdub has a good point, do the threads look unaltered?

Just rechecked the threads looks normal and reapplied the teflon tape and still leaking will the paste teflon sealant be ok cause have some I can try?
