I hate to do this because I know I have seen this question posted somewhere else. However after doing a search for RO I could not find anything. I am sure it is a user to keyboard interface error
I am looking to get an RO unit, I have seen the terms of RO/DI and am unsure what the DI stands for.
Moving forward I need the RO, with two bad shoulders its not the best idea to be hauling 5 gallon jugs around if I don't need to. By looking at some of the systems out there I've notice 2 filter and 3 filter systems, what is the difference? I've also seen ratings on gallons per day - I have a 34 gallon tank and a 14 gallon tank. I would like to start doing water changes once a month at least or every other week.
I understand that the water is filtered very slow, so what would I do with the extra water each day? Can I store it in a large tub?
I also have another question regarding the temp of the water when doing water changes. Seeing that my water is in 5 gallon jugs, the water tends to be about 4 degrees colder than the water in the tank. How does everyone raise the temp of their water to get it in line with the temp of the tank?
As always - your help is much appreciated
