Simon, What resort you going to on Roatan?? I have been to CoCoView many times in the past. Hope you have a great time and great diving! One of my most favorite places to go diving.

Hello Simon and everyones,
I just got back from Carnival Sentation Cruise ship going to Freeport and Nausau Island of Bahamas. It was AWSOME place to dive. I saw maze brain corals as big as a table and so so much more in giant jumbo size fish and corals. It looks like a whole new world when you are under the sea. At Nausau in Atlantis hotel you can rent an indivual scotter submarine for $105 dollars to dive around under water for those are not strong swimmer. I can spent a whole day in the scotter submarine if I could.

I believe it is right across the inlet from CoCoView. If it is you will love it there is 2 walls right out in front of both resorts and from shore diving you can hit either. One is called Newman's Wall & the other is CoCoView Wall (I think) but would have to look back in log book to make sure. There is also a ship (Prince Albert) and small airplane in the canal in between the 2 resorts that is in about 70' +/- of water. There is a cable system to lead you from one wall to the ship to the other wall and I believe it was called Fantasy Island but we never stayed there. They were just building it the first time I was there and it is on the southern side of the island so the seas should not be as rough. Been to CoCoView 6 times and also another smaller island closer to the mainland Honduras but that is a whole different story.

Sorry if it is not exactly the place I am thinking of but I am almost 90% it is, but, HAVE A GREAT TRIP!!
