I had one of those in my tank for at least a year. The rock he choose as home was at the bottom of the entire rock structure and that would have meant taking out most of the rock in my tank. At the time, nothing in the tank appeared to be missing so I assumed he was too small to catch any of my fish. Eventually I found an empty snail shell in his cave. There are plenty of empty snail shells in my tank so he may have only been using it to close his cave off at night (which I've seen him do with small rocks frequently), or, he may have killed the snail. Either way, I trapped him and now hes got his own 10g in the fish room. His name is Creed after Appollo Creed from the Rocky movies.
