Rodi question

Get a TDS meter. When the TDS on your output side is no longer zero, it's time.

Only way to know for sure is to check it with a TDS meter... even then, if you didn't know it was working properly before, you may never know whether or not the filters were actually working.

Get a TDS meter, install it, and check the readings. Anything other than 0 ppm is suspect.

tds meter? also mine has clear cannisters so you can see the filters. but i want to tag along as my tds meter shows 0 ppm, but my filters look like poopy and im getting alittle algae in the tank. either way, im about to swap to a new tank so im going to replace the filters just in case, as ive had my rodi for like a yr and a half now...

<span style="font-family: Times New Roman;"><span style="font-size: 13px;">The best way to know for sure is.</span></span>
<span style="font-family: Times New Roman;"><span style="font-size: 13px;">Check the source water for pressure and TDS so you know what you are dealing with.</span></span>
<span style="font-family: Times New Roman;"><span style="font-size: 13px;">A pressure gauge after the prefilters and carbon, will let you know when they are getting clogged. </span></span>
<span style="font-family: Times New Roman;"><span style="font-size: 13px;">A TDS reading after the RO so you know how the membrane is performing, </span></span>
<span style="font-family: Times New Roman;"><span style="font-size: 13px;">And a TDS reading after the DI so you know how it is performing.</span></span>
<span style="font-family: Times New Roman;"><span style="font-size: 13px;">Do you have color changing DI?</span></span>
<span style="font-family: Times New Roman;"><span style="font-size: 13px;"> </span></span>

Did I miss anything?

<span style="font-family: Times New Roman;"><span style="font-size: 13px;">Also to run at peak performance temp. and pressure must be in the optimal range for said membrane.</span></span>
<span style="font-family: Times New Roman;"><span style="font-size: 13px;"> </span></span>
<span style="font-family: Times New Roman;"><span style="font-size: 13px;">Edit: prefilters, sediment and carbon.</span></span>
