I did a search and cant seem to come up with any, I would like to know rules of thumbs on fragging. My first frag will be some lps candy cane. I have some cutters and some plugs and the cemet stuff. Is there a thread out there for this? Like where to cut and how, when and stuff

Here's a reference....

anytime i frag i google it "how to frag zoanthids" and have found some good storyboards and videos on the subject.

I beleive this is what you were looking for........FYI - i didnt read it so i cant attest to its accuracy (i havent fragged a CC so i wouldnt know if it was right or wrong anyway)

haha - same link.....same time. In im South Carolina so things are a lil slower down here...lol

that looks like it, I really want to burn some rules of thumb in my head though, I'll never have any zoas so i dont have to worry about the squirt your eyes out deal lol

IMO, a failsafe way to frag is to wear eye protection, gloves, and to have the right tools - i have only really fragged zoas and some chalice though and i learned to set up my lil lab in my kitchen in advance and not to rush things.....IME anyway

Good points. Zoas are toxic so be careful not to get in your eye or accidently eat one!

fragging a CC shouldnt be to bad.....just cut it close to the base at the nearest "V" of the skeleton....same with most branching LPS...i usually just close my eyes and my mouth when i cut them...haha....
