Sailfin Tang Help!

Found him stuck up against my closed loop intake screen. I didn't think he was in a bad way, just think with his big fins he got stuck sleeping last night. He's not swimming too good now, but breathing ok. Is there anything I can do to give him a boost. He's fighting.

Well he was laboring away in the tank, but I just had to yank him out of my RBTA. Doesn't look good. I was hoping to get him to the fish store to put in a QT by himself, out of harms way, but nature has taken its course.

I lost a clown tang the same way. It takes all their energy to fight the suction. If he's still kicking and you have a fuge put him in there.

The RBTA must have stung him, he's paralyzed now.

Lost a purple tang to a power head. He seemed ok for a couple days then he stayed in his cave for a couple more until he died.

Rich... had this one about 3 years. Haven't replaced him... yet. A new one is on the list for the new build.

Thought about it... decided to wait for the new build.

This is just one PERFECT example why anybody in this hobby should spend the little funds it takes to set up a QT tank.
