Sailfin's eye

It looks like my sailfin's eye is cut or there is something growing on it. Is this possible, is it something bad?

I don't think it looks like pop eye. I can't get a picture, I will keep trying, but it really looks like it is cut and a little piece of it is hanging off. He is fine, eating good and everything.

Some fish can come in with flukes which are most visible on the eye. Unfortunately, though, we will need a pic.
