Salinity of Sea Water

Anyone know the exact salinity of sea water? I know we set our aquarium to 1.025.

Natural sea water averages 1.025. Red Sea, 1.026.

Thank you both. My son was actually searching based on the keyword "salinity" and wasn't getting back any results in terms of specific gravity.

That's because they are two different methods of measuring the density of salt in water (or urine...)
