Is there any LFS that sells saltwater that is mixed with reef crystals or any salt designed for reefs?

Most LFS use instant ocean. I used to work at this place in savannah that offered instant ocean for a buck a gallon and tropic Marin for 2bucks a gallon.

Thats what I figured. I went from a 110 gal tank to a 46 gal tank. So I don't want to mix my own salt anymore. I mostly have polyps and some softies in my tank but would like to use salt that is degined for reef. Well if any LFS out there is willing to use salt that is designed for reef please let me know.

Well I plan to do a weekly water change of 10 gal. Not much which is why I don't want to mix it myself.

do you have an RO/DI unit? if so I would mix myself. over by me its 1.50 a gallon. thats 60.00/month. You can get salt way cheaper and mix yourself. Riptide could prob sell you some already mixed water

I'm pretty sure the Aviarium sells both saltwater and RO/DI. Post in Atlanta Aquarium as well and ask Rit if he sells it.

If you only have softies and polyps in there do you really need salt specifically geared for reef tanks. Unless your planning on putting some other corals in there then I can understand.

I understand what your saying but if i decide to add other types of corals my tank would have a good amount of trace elements in there. plus it does not hurt to use that type of salt if the option is available.

Edit:

I wish you guys were closer. You will see me every week. By the way, what do you charge for per gallon?

I have my own RO/DI unit and used salinity when I had my 110. I would mix about 40 gallons when I change out my water. Its just a hassle for me to filter out the water and then mix it. I don't have an area for my equipment to stay in one spot.

Einsteins sells saltwater. Not sure what salt he mixes it with but knowing Chris, I'm sure its high grade. I get my Salinity there. He's in Tucker.

Ah ic . A friend of Timmy is pretty much in bad shape lol. But honestly u don't need super high end salts. I run sps on instant ocean.
