Same sex clowns

I have a set of clowns that have been in my tank for over 4 years. A guy came to my house the other day and looked at my fish and told me that he thinks they are both female because there was no significant size difference. And also because they have never mated. I thought they assume gender roles when they are left together in pairs? Is it possible that they are both female?

Not much help but I was just wondering about mines too. I got them both when they were small. They have grown equally. Host their own home and are great together.

There isn't always a noticeable size difference. Also possible they've both become females but some how tolerated one another.

He told me that they were more like "sisters" than a couple. Lol
