SAND WORM? (ID Please)

Here it is... I've got several of them, they don't seem to be causing any trouble.. but Id like to know what they are...

I thought spaghettis were the ones that are yellowish and look like tangled wool...?

+1 I thought so too.

I've had tons of these things Ron. They seem to come and go. Good detritus eaters from what I've seen so to me they're harmless.
 
yes.. I don't think they are bad... I just didn't know if anyone knew what they were exactly..


I've looked up the spaghetti worms.. that ain't these.. :D
 
I've got tons of these. I think I've been referring to them as vermatid snails, but I don't think that's right. Vermatids apparently have coiled tubes.

Yes. Vermatid snails have coiled tubed and usually are attached to liverock and stationary surfaces. They look like they have a spider web they use to gather food.
 
Just did a google image search and didn't come up with anything. I'll keep looking.
 
they are odd lil buggers - like they use the substrate to build thier "tube" maybe even to shield them from the light - when you break it open you see little yellowish super thin worm inside. maybe we could bring some to the meeting and dissect or get an ID from the masses?
