Anyone know where I can purchase a T fitting for schedule 80 that is 45 degrees not a full 90? I ordered a sump with dual filter socks but only have one outlet from tank :wow2:. I think a full 90 degree bend would make too much noise. Any input would be great.

yes, but does that distribute equally and also they don't make that one in a 1" size that i need.

No it does not distribute equally. I was just trying to figure out what you were after. It is hard to get a "Y" in smaller sizes. I have not been able to find one.

Ya, that's a bummer. I've been looking for a while now, and just can't find one. I'm almost ready to do my rebuild and need to make a decision. Is the 90 going to sound like a water fall? This will be my first "hard pipe" build so i don't know what it is going to sound like. Only running a Mag7.

Thanks for your help by the way!

Can you take a picture or draw a simple sketch. Maybe we can figure something out.

Oh wait. I just read back through your original post. Dough..... There are a couple ways to do this. Does the line from the tank drop straight into the sump or is there a bend to get to it?

It drops right down which is nice, but I'll have to angle is slightly. I want to use both socks because of the size of them. They are the smaller kind. Its a Trigger Systems Ruby30 Sump to give you an idea.

I will just have to use a "T" I suppose. I like how they cut that piping though. Clever!

You saved the day! Thanks guys.

Lowes usually has all the Schedule 80 fittings. Just plumbed a tank recently with schedule 80 and got everything I needed there.
