Any one have any experience with these??
I searched the forum but didn't find any posts
I found nice purple ones online - but wanted info from someone who actually has them in their tank
opinions  or :yuk:

They are gorgonia most are nps and require feeding sum a few times a day others every few days to maintain the best health if keeping in small tanks -120g its best to beef up your carbon and gfo as phosphates can be a problem in till you find the right feeding regiment for them

Thanks! I read online sometimes they have problems with algae growth on them if they dont get enough water motion - Have you ever experienced that? and how much would be enough - ?

Ive got'em... I really like it they feed well out of the water column, never had to directly target feed it and have had it over a year now and is very healthy.

Yes I've had algae cover them because of lack of flow and all the polyps will retract. Gave it a bit more flow and has been great since, one of my favorite pieces. You can also scrub it of gently to help out.

Wow Looks great!!
Did you you get yours locally or thru an online vendor?

Locally, from Club sponsor Marine Designs. Ive seen them in there on a number of occasions. They did have a bunch in there display tank, its kinda what sold me on it (looked so good in there).:)

Flow for nps is about the same as sps they like high random flow I personally never have had a alge issue that couldn't be fixed in a short time I like the maintenance part of the hobbie so my tanks stay pristine
