I have seen someone putting a seahorse in a tank full of coral and clown fish. just wondering if frag tank is off limits (due to no place to hide or too strong light, etc)?
I have heard that seahorses are very sensitive to coral stings and some agressive corals may harm the seahorse... however, I have had no personal experience with them... they require too much care!

That.....and vice versa. The seahorse is gonna drag his tail over EVERYTHING, so get used to corals being PO'ed. Also, theres gonna be a lot of food youll need to feed, so thatll be leftover food, so make sure the filtration is up to spec. Overall, not a good idea IMO.
how about keeping them in the sump? I believe flow is low enough I can plant a bunch of algae. I'm actually considering taking down the aquapod that has 3 of them... too many tanks

I'm not sure what kind you have, but I don't recommend this. Seahorses seem to be more prone to infections/bacteria. Plus you have to feed alot, and they poop alot. This may cause issues in your DT(depending on filtration) They really should be in a dedicated tank, as mentioned above.
