Secret to great LPS Colors!

I get asked a lot what my secret to the great colors I get from my LPS. Torches, hammers, frogspawns... You name it. I'm able to maintain great growth and color in a SPS dominated ULN tank. How you may ask? Easy. Feed quality treats. My Orange Frogspawn gets the best and nothing less!

What are you feeding them? Do you dose additives such as amino acids, trace elements, phyto or zoo plankton?

Anyone using BRS Reef Chili? Any comments on it? They tout independent reviews with favorable results and it's dirt cheap. I'm using it but at the same time working on improving a number of things such as kh/ca levels via 2 part and reducing phosphates and nitrates via carbon and GFO.

I was guessing bartletts anthias. Though to be honest, it would break my heart, but I might be convinced to blend one up and feed it to my sps if it really made them AMAZINGLY colorful!

I have 3 bartletts and love them. One was trying to be a martyr and get ich to become coral food but the pests weren't strong enough to take him down.

No, he died from some aggression in the tank due to a new addition. The spawn is just where he landed. The spawn loves Chromis too btw!
