There's a person I know that he's breaking down his tank. He has a naso tang (or a gold rim tang -- I'm not really sure), flame angel, mystery wrasse, yellow watchman goby, lawnmower blenny, and a snowflake eel. How much do you think is the right price to buy all these? I don't want to overpay, but I don't want to take advantage of him not being able to maintain these fish either. Please help. Thanks. Felix.

Flame angels, go for about $50-60 depends on the fish store. thats all i know, i bought mine from a friend who didn't want her anymore. love her to death.

I'd say:
naso tang $40 depending on size
flame $30
mystery $100
yellow wm $20
lm blenny $15
snowflake $30

That being said, I think $200-$225 would be fair...

you wanna go to nemos 1 or 2 the have very cheap prices. you cant leave that store empty handed for sure. i just cant go there anymore lol and im more into the coral side of reefing.

Wow, I didn't know the mystery wrasse goes for that much .... is there anything special about this fish? or is it just rare? The tang looks prettier in the tank, but then again I guess it depends on what people like.

Also, is the snowflake eel a predator to smaller fish like clowns, gobies, etc? Is is reefsafe? I don't really like any eel, so if I have to get it as a whole package I will have to find a way to sell it back somehow.

I think $200ish is fair to all, purchasing these fish is alot less risky than buying from a lfs, they are already adjusted to aquarium life.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I'll make an offer to him today and see how it goes. I may end up giving the eel away. Maybe, I don't know yet. It looks like a snake and my wife will freak out for sure.
